After Rashami Desai, Balika Vadhu star Sheetal Khandal accuses Sidharth Shukla of touching her inappropriately
Sidharth Shukla, who has been controversy’s favourite child on Bigg Boss 13, is making the headlines for all the wrong reasons after his Balika Vadhu co-star Sheetal Khandal accused him of touching her inappropriately during the shooting.
Bigg Boss 13 has been making the headlines for several reasons including interesting tasks and controversial fights. Amid all this, television actor Sidharth Shukla has emerged as the most popular contestant on the show. The actor has been grabbing a lot of attention on the show, be it for his anger issues, his heated war of words, leadership qualities and his strong game. However, Sidharth recently made the heads turn for all the wrong reasons after co-contestant Rashami Desai accused him of touching her on the show. While Rashami’s allegations have left the viewers shocked this isn’t the first time that Sidharth faced such accusations against him.
Earlier, his Balika Vadhu co-star Sheetal Khandal, who played the role of Gehna on the show, also alleged that Sidharth used to touch her inappropriately during the shoots. During her recent interview with Times Of India, Sheetal slammed Sidharth for his hypocrite behaviour as the took stand for Arti Singh against Siddhartha Dey on the show. For the uninitiated, Siddhartha had passed derogatory comments against Arti on the show. And while Sidharth came in Arti’s support, his behaviour came as a surprise for Sheetal.
Recalling her work experience with Sidharth, Sheetal claimed that the latter had often used foul language with her and also passed vulgar comments on her. “From body-shaming to passing derogatory comments he has done everything and on Bigg Boss 13 he is trying to project himself as one 'mahaan' (great) person," the actress was quoted saying.
Sheetal also claimed that Sidharth often tried to be over-friendly with her during the shooting of Balika Vadhu. She told TOI, “Once we were shooting a master shot where he had to touch my feet and the way touched me I felt disgusted. I got scolded as the shot did not come across as it was needed and I couldn't share with anyone why I behaved in such a way. He used to keep his hands on my shoulders even though we did not share that kind of rapport with each other. It was my first show so initially, I did not complain, but later when things started getting out of hand, I had to complain against him.”
Furthermore, the Balika Vadhu actress also emphasised that Sidharth coming out on Arti’s support against Siddhartha was a well thought movie. Explaining it further, Sheetal stated when the incident took place, Sidharth who was present there didn’t react at all. However, he ended up creating a ruckus over it later and bagged the limelight. “If you hear something offensive you react immediately and don't wait for a moment to show your anger,” Sheetal added.
Well, Sheetal’s revelations certainly came as a shock for everyone. But we wonder if this will affect Sidharth’s fan following in Bigg Boss 13.
