After Rajan Shahi's Yaariaan gets shelved, Mohit Malik to do a South Indian Movie?
Mohit Malik to do a South Indian movie?!
Mohit Malik to return to screens after his much popular stint on Doli Armaano Ki created a lot of buzz. His project titled Yaariyaan which was to be helmed by Director-Producer Rajan Shahi made Mohit extremely happy as he was excited to work with the ace director. But as destiny would have it, the show got shelved and this has terribly upset Mohit who looked forward to the show.
But the actor is now looking down south for better career prospectus and has apparently also signed a South movie. The buzz only got stronger when someone posted a picture of Mohit and Atul Mongia, Director in Kerela attending acting workshops. Mohit has been there since a few days now and we hear his wife Aditi has also joined him there for a few days. Talking about Yaariyan, the show that was to go on air on Life OK had created quite a stir in the media and was ready with one with the pilot being shot. Mohit apparently had been patiently waiting last few months for it. However as luck would have it, Mohit got to know only recently that the show is not taking place. This show was precisely the reason why Mohit did not even take up any other new show or project.
While talking about it, Mohit says, "I am very choosy about my projects and this one I had really liked. Unfortunately, it's not happening now but on the brighter side, I am hoping good projects come my way. Till then I am in a happy space helping my wife with her restaurants and helping her design them. In all its a good phase in all but yes the acting is and will always remain my first love." Apparently, Mohit's character in the show had a lot of layers. The story was about ‘underdogs’ who take revenge and was a very edgy show with entertainment, love, humour, sorrow, pain, friendship and brotherhood and was a Turkish show which was made in Hollywood. Since the concept has been very much appreciated worldwide, we have a lot of responsibility on our shoulders to make it good. I want to do my best as an actor."
