According to reports, Ekta Kapoor was keen on creating a spin off to Yeh Hai Mohabbatein but apparently things didn't work out as she had expected and the idea had to be dropped. At the launch of the her latest spin off show Kundali Bhagya, Ekta told the press, "I was looking forward to doing something for 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' as well, but it was not working out with the storyline, writing and all other aspects."
Meanwhile, for the addicted fans of KumKum Bhagya who are bored to death with Pragya constantly getting abducted, here's a breath of fresh air spin-off, Kundali Bhagya. The show will bear a new show revolving around Pragya's family, her father etc. Earlier, this year, we saw how Ishqbaaz of Star Plus too got its own spin-off Dil Bole Oberoi made.
