After ITA, Harshad Chopda wins Best Male actor at Asian Viewers Television Awards 2018 for Bepannaah

Harshad Chopda won our hearts as Aditya on Colors' show Bepannaah. The actor won the Best Male actor award at AVTA 2018.

The Asian Viewers Television Awards (AVTA) 2018 were held on December 15, 2018. The award show felicitates the amazing actors and their shows that have entertained the audience for the whole year. This year, Indian television saw varied range of shows that kept the audience hooked to their TV screens. Some shows have been running for more than a year and are everybody's favourite. Even though some TV shows were short-lived, they successfully won their own audience and left an impact.

The award shows was a star-studded night with several television stars gracing the night. Television's handsome hunk Harshad Chopda won the Male Actor Award of The Year at AVTA for his performance as Aditya in Bepannaah. As Aditya, Harshad was a quite a lovable character yet has his own guards set. He starred alongside Jennifer Winget in the show. Bepannaah received lots of love from the audience but the show was abruptly shut down this month. The makers wanted to take the show on the digital platform, however, both Jenny and Harshad was not ready to work for the digital platform.

For the Male Actor Award of The Year category, Harshad Chopda was nominated along with Nakuul Mehta and Ssharad Malhotra.

On the other hand, Ishqbaaaz actress Surbhi Chandna won the Female Actor of The Year award for her performance as Annika. As the show has taken generation leap and Surbhi will no more be a part of it, we are happy to see her win as she totally deserves it!
