Looks like popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has hit a rough phase. Recently, female lead and television personality Disha Vakani called it quits and now actress Nidhi Bhanushali, who plays Atmaram Bhide's daughter Sonu, will reportedly be leaving the show as well. Fans were mighty disappointed earlier when Disha aka Daya Ben announced her exit from the show. And now, Nidhi , who has a huge fan base, will also break many hearts. 

According to reports, the 19-year-old actress is quitting the show to concentrate on her studies. To incorporate her exit on the show, the makers of Taarak have decided to show Sonu's character leaving India and going abroad to pursue her studies further. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest running shows on Indian television. Launched in 2008, Nidhi Bhanushali replaced Jheel Mehta as Sonu in 2012. She made her debut with this show and now has been associated with it for more than six years. 

 With a massive fan following on social media, Nidhi is definitely one of the more popular stars on the show. The actress also makes sure to keep her fans up to date with her social life and often posts videos of herself singing. Take a look at some of Nidhi's posts on Instagram:
