Adaa Khan: My ex-boyfriend cheated on me thrice

As reported by DNA, the actor opened up on the show about her breakup with Ankit Gera. Adaa revealed that she was cheated by him thrice and yet she forgave him.
"When it comes to love, I have had a very terrible experience in the past. My ex-boyfriend cheated on me and still, I forgave him thrice. But after a point, I knew that I had to let it go. Love is not a priority for me," said the actor.
Ankit Gera was apparently cheating on Adaa Khan with his Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke co-star Roopal Tyagi.
Adaa Khan also revealed that she had become suicidal because of everything that happened with her in the relationship.
In an interview earlier with Hindustan Times, Ankit Gera had said, "With Adaa it was a serious relationship. She is a very nice girl. I respect and cherish those four years we spent together. I wish her all the best in life."
He added, "Adaa and I share a common circle of friends. So we do meet each other at common gatherings and various parties. There are no hard feelings between us. We still talk to each other."
The actor also got emotional whilst remembering her late mother who passed away after battling cancer a few years ago. Speaking about the toughest phases of her life, Adaa said, "My mother was my backbone. While she was admitted to the hospital, she wanted me to resume work instead of being by her side. I remember she always wanted me to work with Ekta(Kapoor)ma’am but it is extremely unfortunate that she could not watch me fulfill her dream. She isn’t present by my side but I know she is my guardian angel and watching over me from above."
