Adaa Khan impressed all as Shesha in Naagin and became a household name instantly. However, the hype around her died down a bit when Naagin 2 came along with many pointing out that the hype was mostly around the lead protagonist Mouni Roy.

When Adaa was asked about the same by a leading daily, the actress stated, "I don’t have anything against anyone, as I was still appreciated for my work. Frankly, these things never bother me, as I believe in destiny. I played a double role — Shesha and Ruchika — and I don’t know why it did not match up to the hype created by the first season. It could either be because the excitement level dips during the second season of any show or because people could watch it according to their convenience on other platforms."

Talks of Naagin 3 have been rife for the longest time and when asked if she will be a part of the franchise, Adaa revealed, "People are assuming that I am a part of it, but I haven’t committed to any project yet."

Meanwhile, Adaa's co-star Mouni will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Reema Kagti's Gold. One wonders if Adaa will go down the Bollywood path as well to which the actress said, "Initially, I was not open to the idea, but now, I will take up if something good comes my way. I am more confident now."
