Adaa Khan on doing supernatural show Vish ya Amrit Sitaara after Naagin: Audience enjoys fantasies right now
After winning our hearts as a hot and vicious Naagin, Adaa Khan is back to playing a positive role in her new show Vish ya Amrit... Sitaara.
Adaa Khan is one of the most phenomenal television actresses. In her career, she has played both positive and negative roles. The actress was last seen in the supernatural show Naagin 2 which also starred Mouni Roy. Adaa played a negative role in Naagin. Now, the actress is back with yet another supernatural show Vish ya Amrit... Sitaara. She plays the titular role in the show.
In an interview with Indian Express, Adaa was asked why after Naagin she opted for another supernatural show. The actress said, "Because I love it. I don’t know if there’s a connection but I think the audience enjoys fantasies right now." She also stated that she personally enjoys watching supernatural shows. Khan said that earlier shows based on saas-bahu and then love stories worked; however, now the audience is fond of larger than life tales.
Adaa was asked about her character in the show and she described Sitaara as bubby, positive and modern. She added, "While she is a Vishkanya, she is oblivious to her supernatural powers. So it would be interesting to see what happens when she gets to know about the truth."
Well, we are quite enthralled to see Adaa Khan in a positive role after a long time.
