Balika Vadhu actor Vikrant Massey: I agree when people say TV is regressive
Vikrant Massey has made a mark for himself in the TV as well as the film industry. In an interview, he shared his views on TV as a platform.
Vikrant Massey has proved his acting mettle with various TV shows and movies. The talented actor started his acting journey by doing television shows earlier, and now, he is doing quite well in the films as well. The actor has also stepped in the digital world and been a part of web series. He made his debut on TV with the youth show Dhoom Machaao Dhoom in 2007. He then went on to act in shows like Dharam Veer, Balika Vadhu, Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo, Qubool Hai and many others.
The actor made his debut in Bollywood in 2013 with Vikramaditya Motwane's Lootera in which he starred with Ranveer Singh. He played Singh's friend in the film and received a lot of praises for his performance. He then acted in several films like Dil Dhadakne Do, A Death In The Gunj, Half Girlfriend, Lipstick Under My Burkha. The actor is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming web series titled Broken.
In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, he shared his thoughts on Television. He said, "I agree when people say TV is regressive, I would go back to TV only for the money. There is no denying that TV pays really well. It’s only the money that I miss."
