5 years of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein: Divyanka and Karan thank fans and makers for achieving the milestone

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, which is undoubtedly one of the most famous TV shows, is celebrating 5-year anniversary today. Karan Patel who plays the lead role of Raman took to his Instagram account to share a video thanking makers, cast, Star network, writers and fans for achieving this huge milestone. Talking about the success and achievement, Divyanka, who plays the character of Ishita, said, “The show has received an unexpected response since day one till date. We never knew it will be a hit amongst people in India and abroad. Even today, we feel we might not have a storyline or people might not like us anymore but then people still like us. There are new stories shaping up. YHM is surprising audience and is a beautiful series.  I am thankful to audience that they have loved us so much. They have spoilt us with their kindness and loyalty towards our show. We would still request them to keep watching the show because it will be always full of surprises.”

Talking about the serial, it is inspired by Manju Kapoor's novel called Custody. The serial started off with the story of Ishita (played by Divyanka Tripathi) who was infertile. On the other hand, the show also showed the story of Raman Bhalla (played by Karan Patel) who was heartbroken as his wife Shagun (played by Anita Hassanadaani) left him and their young daughter Ruhi (played by Ruhanika Dhawan). Ishita came into their life and completed them, and since then, there have been many twists and turns in Ishita and Raman's life. Producer Ekta Kapoor also took to Instagram to share a video about it.
