Barun Sobti's Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3 to replace Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil?
Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3 may start airing on July 3, 2017.
Barun Sobti is back with the third season of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon which will soon start airing. But instead of Sanaya Irani, it will be Shivani Tomar who will be paired opposite Barun on the show.
Shivani will be playing Chandni who is a well read person and excels in Sanskrit while Barun will be the angry young man we all love.
According to a leading television portal, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3 is replacing Drashti Dhami and Arjun Bijlani's show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil. The TRP's of Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil which came out 7 months back did not meet up to the expectations.
So, Barun's show will mostly be in the prime time slot of 8 p.m and will premiere on July 3, 2017.

Barun revealed about his character to a leading news agency, "He (Advay) is definitely angry. But there are no similarities between the character I played earlier to this one. The new show has an entirely different story, backdrop and new characters. It has nothing to do with the one I played earlier. It's not a continuation of that show,"
So why were are the makers calling it a third season? Barun said, "When I was approached by the makers, at that time I really liked the story. So, eventually, we decided that it should be called a third installment. It's not my call to call it a third installment. The channel decided to call the ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon'."
