Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi's Shaheer Sheikh is indeed charming and has a huge female fan following. We all have our favourite celebs and we dream of meeting them. But, there are few who stretch it too far to get a glimpse of their favourite celebs and that recently happened with Shaheer.
In a recent incident, a mother and her daughter came on the sets of their show to meet Shaheer. But as the actor was busy rehearsing for the show, so he couldn't meet his die-hard fans. Disappointed fans tried to demean the reputation of the actor by calling him names.
Now, Shaheer's co-star Erica has come out in support of him and slammed the reports of him being rude to his fans. She wrote, "Not trying to demean anyone or disrespect anyone . But i am not going to support anyone trying to spoil a persons name for no fault of his." She cleared the air off as she was one of the witnesses present when the whole ruckus happened.
Earlier, there were reports that the two have ego issues between each other. Talking about it, Shaheer told us, "People come up with such weird stories which are purely imaginative and I don't know how to react, to laugh or what. I feel so blessed to have Erica as my co-actor who is so helpful. I mean I have seen a lot of actors having ego issues in between them and their costars. But here, we absolutely do not have any issues. Not just me and Erica, everybody on sets is like a family. You can drop in on sets anytime and see, that we are very cool with each other. We play pranks, we have fun, we trouble each other. We are like a family. So when someone writes something purely imaginative, I don't know what to say, probably just can laugh."
Erica also rubbished the rumours saying, "I have never felt so comfortable with anyone before. There is no tantrum, no ego, it's very smooth and easy to work. There's a lot of understanding between us too. We can only laugh on such rumours."
