Being a mum is no doddle! Be it at home-maker or a working mother, the top most priority of each mom is the welfare of her kids! One relation you can count on during every ups and downs of your life is the one you have with your mother. She helps you in sailing through the biggest of hardships and even makes you feel sky high over the simplest of achievement of yours - these are somethings no one can ever do better than a mother!

There's no time when your mom hasn't intervened and warned us before performing an action. But the swagger kids that we all are, haven't paid heed to her advise, just to realise and regret upon it later, after facing the reaction to our action.

On the eve of Mother's day, here are actors revealing such 'golden advises' from their mothers that NOW play a vital role in their lives.

Niti Taylor: My mom taught me to value things. For example I remember spending lots of money she use to ask me to learn saving them. But now I use her teachings and its helping me to grow. I have started giving value to things be it small or big.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee: My mother always advice me to keep positive vibes. She feels, what happened, happening or will happen is for our good. Earlier I use to feel it was just a saying but now I feel its so true. I keep myself positive every time.

Gaurav Khanna: My mother use to advice me not to waste time. As when you are young we generally don't pay heed to such things being carefree and irresponsible but now since I started living alone in mumbai I realised mom was so true! She made me learn to value time as in metro city like Mumbai wasting time takes one no where.

Iqbal Khan: I was a very obedient son. For me my mother's advice is similar to 'pathar ki lakeer', She really made me independent. She use to ask me to do household at that time I use not enjoy it but now I feel proud that her upbringing made me so independent.

Mahika Sharma: My mother use to scold me as I was never interested in reading newspapers. But now its my regular habit of reading it. Without newspapers my mornings are so weird. My mom is not in Mumbai with me but every morning I miss her remembering newspaper tales.

Roop Durgapal: I was always very moody and short tempered as a child and she would tell me that too much anger harms you only. I came to understand the value of staying calm and not losing temper easily much later and now try to follow it as much as i can.

Anuj Sachdeva: My mother always told me that time is precious and we must always respect it. As a teenager I think I took time for granted. Today I make sure that I spend each day doing something productive with myself. I realise that time is best when it's utilised.

Tanya Sharma: My mother is punctual and has made me too like her. I use not to be timely about my activities. But she made me punctual now. Now it helps me a lot.

Happy Mother's Day.
