Roadies Rising has proved to be a roller coaster of various emotions and it’s not just the gang members, gang leaders are equally a part of this crazy ride.

Rannvijay who has been on Roadies since its inception recently had a breakdown.  During the vote outs, Chiranjeevi (Nikhil’s gang) who was eliminated by his team members pitched to Rannvijay saying, “Whatever I do, I do for my team. My team is my family. Warriors walk together and not alone.”

Chiranjeevi who is the favourite of all the gang leaders and members pitched with all his honesty. His perseverance and heart- felt honesty touched Rannvijay’s heart, leaving him teary eyed. Chiranjeevi even called Rannvijay ‘Godfather of Roadies’. While talking to us, Rannvijay had expounded on his journey from being a contestant to now a judge on Roadies. He said, "First I was a contestant, then I hosted the show for few years. Now, I am the judge and a gang leader. I have actually done a lot of behind the scenes thing with MTV creative task with the production, spot boy everything. I still enjoy like a 20-year-old when I was a contestant. I remember I had such a blast and no responsibilities. I was going to the army, this was a journey of a lifetime. I had a great time travelling and making friends. Then next year I was at a job working very hard. Things couldn't go wrong, so I had to manage everything in a certain manner. As a judge, every time you do something next, you feel proud of yourself. Till the time I was a host, I had to tell them how it was to be done and about the consequences of not doing it. Now, I am responsible of how to nurture them, how to bring back confidence in them and tell them everything is OK and I care for them. At the end of the day, you feel for the four-five people of your gang, you want them to go ahead.

While talking about doing reality shows, he said, "If I do a reality show, it is for real, I play myself and not any character. If I get angry or I am in a fun mood in real life, this is what you see on the show. When you play a character in the film if you do that role properly people appreciate it. When I did the role of a police officer or an army guy I sold it as people believed it. Both are at different highs. And if you have a balance, like I have done 10 films and one show and lot of reality shows, it works well."
