Mahhi Vij on molestation: It was an unfortunate incident; I lost it and slapped that man twice
Mahhi Vij opens up about being molested.
Mahhi Vij is one of the most loved faces on Television. The actress who was last seen in Colors TV show Balika Vadhu recently revealed an unfortunate incident she had faced in a nightclub.
Revealing that she has herself been a victim of molestation, Maahi said, "Yes, it was an unfortunate incident. There was a launch of a new happening place owned by a friend. I just went to the restroom with a friend of mine and while coming back, I could feel this man feeling me. I turned around and saw that even after knowing that I have realized his terrible act, he had the audacity to smile or smirk rather. I lost it and slapped him hard twice. My friend's boyfriend then told me that he would take care."
She further said, "I immediately went to Jay [Bhanusali] and told him. But before he could do anything, the man had fled."
On the work front, Mahhi has been missing from the Tellyville for quite some time now. Talking about her sabbatical, Mahhi had earlier said, "I took a long break because I wasn’t getting good offers. In between, I did reality shows. I don’t want to do TV shows just for the heck of it. I can’t compromise with my career."
Jay and Mahhi have been married for 5 years now. Speaking about her relationship with Jay and if she is a possessive wife, Mahhi earlier said, "I am possessive but not an insecure wife. And I think every woman is possessive towards her husband. I don’t fear losing Jay. He can’t stay away from me for more than half an hour. My love is too strong to lose him."
