Chetan Hansraj to enter Sony TV's Peshwa Bajirao
Peshwa Bajirao to witness a new entry.
Actor Chetan Hansraj is all set to portray a pivotal role in Sony Entertainment Television’s Peshwa Bajirao. The actor will be seen essaying the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb’s eldest son Muhammad Azam Shah in the show. Apparently, Hansraj has already started shooting for the show.
A source from the set informs, “Chetan Hansraj fits the character and has been finalised for the show. He has been following Peshwa Bajirao since its commencement and gave his nod for the role as soon as it was offered to him. He believes the grandeur and the authenticity of the historical drama are being picturized beautifully and is one of the biggest reason for him to come on board.”
When contacted, Chetan confirmed the news saying, “It’s a big responsibility to play Aurangzeb’s son Muhammad Azam Shah in the show. Peshwa Bajirao has successfully engrossed the audience and I am sure Azam Shah’s entry will further entertain and engage the audience.” Meanwhile, Peshwa Bajirao has been making viewers stay hooked onto the show. Recently Kareena Kapoor Khan too admitted of her mother, Babita being a fan of the show. Kareena said, “I don't watch shows but my mom does and she loves watching Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Peshwa Bajirao, etc.” Not known to many, Rudra Sony, who plays the main role of Bajirao, was also a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Bajirao Mastani along with Ranveer Singh! While talking about his acting experience with Ranveer, Rudra said, "Ranveer Singh is a very nice actor. Just by looking at him perform I learned that there should be some purpose to do our work and we should have complete dedication in whatever we do. He is extremely down to earth and a great actor to work with." He further said, "During SuperDancer where I was also there to promote my promo, he had come as a celebrity guest. He met me and was like arey I know you! On knowing about my role, he was very happy and asked me to make him proud! He congratulated me too!"
