Bade Acche Lagte Hai's Chahatt Khanna wins the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award
Chahatt Khanna, last seen in Bade Acche Lagte Hai, wins the prestigious award.
The Dadasaheb Phalke awards that took place in the city a few days ago, saw the who's who of the glam world.
Many deserving celebrities were felicitated with the award in various categories.
One such gorgeous who was honoured eith the award in the fresh face of the year category was Chahat Khanna.
While talking to us, an elated Chahat said, "It's nice to be acknowledged by such an esteemed organisation for the same. I am blessed and lucky to be awarded." She further stated, "On the work front, a few things are getting materialised. I shall make the announcements soon."
Meanwhile, the beauty delivered a baby girl in September. Throughout her pregnancy, Chaahat carried her baby bump in style and did not hesitate to flaunt it too.
The actress is still popularly rembered as Ayesha on Bade Acche Lagte Hai. The show starred Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in the lead. She essayed the role of Sakshi's younger sister. Her character was seen turning negative towards the mid of the show. Chaahat after the completion of a year of BALH, quit it for better projects. She got married to Farhan Mirza in 2013.
