Parth Samthaan booked under the charges of molestation
Parth Samthaan has been booked under the protection of children from sexual offences act (POCSO).
Seems like troubles are not ending for the Television actor Parth Samthaan. In March, the actor was booked under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code. Now, the actor has again made headlines because he has been booked under the protection of children from sexual offences act (POCSO) by the Bangur Nagar police.
The victim said she was 16 when she was molested by the actor. Samthaan has moved an anticipatory bail application in Dindoshi court, which is likely to be heard tomorrow.
When she had complained about him in March, Parth had issued a clarification saying that the case is false and baseless. The 20-year-old had also accused Parth of slut-shaming her and projecting her as a characterless girl in the industry. Her statements reads as, “There was no dispute between me and Parth Samthaan on any financial matter. As a matter of fact, I have known him for more than 4 years. Parth has in many occasions tried to propose me- not for a relationship but having a good time. Which I have very politely turned down. It might be cool in his group for women to sleep around with him and I have no issues with other girls and the choices they make but I have a different value system. After returning from a party in an alcoholic state, Parth misbehaved with me. After which I stopped contact with him for sometime and he really apologised and as we have been friends for years, I decided to forgive him for the behaviour but soon after that, I started getting insulting and shameful calls from boys who would want favours from me."
But, what intrigued us that Parth amidst all this, tweeted, "So Mr.Vikas gupta is back with his antiques ...I wonder how jobless he must be to plan and plot all this... keep it up man."
Is he hinting at the fact that Vikas is behind all this? Well, this only Parth knows. In December 2013, Parth Samthaan has accused Vikas Gupta, the producer and programming head of a Hindi entertainment channel of molesting him.
