This Bhangra on the track of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is winning over Smriti Irani & the internet
This Bhangra on the title track of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has gone viral.
Talk about one iconic show that gave the Indian Television a new horizon in the form of melodrama and we have Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The show that ran for good eight long years went on to become the longest-running show on Indian TV of that decade. Tulsi-Mihir became a part of every Indian family while Mandira went on to become the country's most disliked lady and home wrecker (in reel life.)
Well, and why are we reliving the good old days. So recently we got our hands on a video that has gone viral. Seen in the video are two Punjabi's performing Bhangra on the beats of none other than the title track of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
This show made Ekta Kapoor, the maker of KSBKT the queen of Indian Television in no time and made Smriti Irani and Ronit Roy/ Amar Upadhyay a household name. Well, it also made the characters of Baa, Tusi, Mihir, Mandira, Payal, Ansh, Karan, Nandini immortal in our hearts forever.
Recently, Ekta Kapoor's reunited with her powerful ladies, Smriti Irani and Sakshi Tanwar aka Tulsi and Parvati just got us extremely nostalgic. Recently Ekta posted a click of herself with her Tulsi and Parvati in the frame. She captioned it as, "Two stalwarts ! D twains meet in Delhi."
90's kids will surely agree when we say, how every household was stuck to TV screens from 10.00pm-11pm on Star plus from Monday-Thursday just to religiously watch Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, irrespective of what's happening in one's life.
This was the time when viewers got agitated on seeing Mihir betray Tulsi for Mandira. Indian television now can just not be compared to the kind of content and acting skills it possessed with a decade ago.
Out of the reel world, while Ekta has sustained her reputation of being the queen of Indian TV, Tulsi who once ruled the Telly Ville, has gone a long way of ruling the Textile Industry of the country as a Minister.
