After Cannes, Barun Sobti's movie all set to premiere at the New York Film Festival

Think of an actor with an impeccable charm, and we have actor Barun Sobti on Indian Television. The actor is currently beaming with joy. And why? Barun's movie, You Are My Sunday is all set to premiere at the New York Film Festival on 6th May 2017. The film was earlier premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and it received a lot of appreciation too.

You Are My Sunday has been directed by Milind Dhaimade. It is a film that will take the audience to explore the city of Mumbai and its diversity, through the eyes of five friends. Meanwhile, Barun's web-series Tanhaiyaan that released on 14th Febrauary received a lot of love and applause. He starred opposite Surbhi Jyoti.

Recently, reports suggested that the actor might make his small screen comeback with the hit show Ishqbaaz where he will be seen doing a cameo. The show is also part of Gul Khan's production banner 4 Lions Films, which also produced  Barun's Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. Gul Khan had even teased Barun's fans by posting a small teaser of him jumping off a jeep. The teaser introduced Barun's character's name as Advay Singh Raizada. However, nothing more was revealed, leaving space for rumours and speculations.

When we got in touch with Barun to know the truth, he said, "I have signed a non-disclosure agreement with the channel and cannot talk about anything." Well, this did hint at something. Next, we got in touch with 4 Lions Films producer Gul Khan to know if reports of Barun doing a cameo inIshqbaaz and essaying a relatively grey shade is true. "None of this is true," she said, adding that these are mere speculations and that too wrong ones.

Further, we asked her if Barun is definitely making a comeback under 4 Lions Films production banner to which she replied in positive, saying yes. However, she refused to reveal anything more on the project.
