Spotlight Episode 1: Lust, kisses and murder mystery
Tridha Choudhary and Sid Makkar go bold in the first episode itself.
Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is literally on a wowing spree. After bewitching audiences with his first web series Maaya, he introduced Twisted, his second series starring Nia Sharma and Namit Khanna in the lead. Now Bhatt is back with more twists and turns in his third web series titled Spotlight. The first episode definitely kept viewers intrigued and stay hooked onto.
The introduction of characters, Sana and Romesh, both bigshot filmstars and their tangled story of sheer lust, addiction and partial love was well put. Whilst shooting, Sana gets shot live on camera by a director. This creates a havoc in the life of her co-star cum alleged boyfriend Romesh. Is her extra marital affair with Romesh the reason behind her attempt to murder or is something missing from the 'spotlight'? The plot of the story is very well established in the first episode itself. Enacted by popular actors Tridha Chaudhary and Sid Makkar, it is directed by Suhail Tatari.
Tridha who is known for her simple image, is seen in a never-seen-before bold and hot avatar and her pairing with Sid looks just perfect. Both Tridha and Sid have enacted bold kissing scenes making the entire series steamy and sensuous.
The story revolves around a girl from the valleys of northern India who wants to be a Bollywood star. The show will focus on her journey and her quest for love. It also stars veteran actors like Arif Zakaria, Rajesh Khera and Krunal Pandit in pivotal roles.
