Sarabhai VS Sarabhai returns: Here are the main highlights of their first live chat

Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai family is returning with a seven-year leap and trust us when we say NOTHING has changed except that the set has now shifted to a penthouse and well, Monisha Sarabhai and Sahil Sarabhai are now proud parents to a six-year-old boy. 

Today, the team was live on Facebook to give us a glimpse of what's in store for us. One of the producers, ‎Jamnadas Majethia‎ gave us a tour of the house and well, we have just one word, wow! It was a visual treat to watch the entire cast yet again.

From Maya's classic retorts, Rosesh's epic poetry to Monisha's middle-class attitude, everything that made Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai timeless is sure to remain unchanged. 

We also got to witness the crackling chemistry between the lead characters (Maya Sarabhai, Indravadan Sarabhai, Rosesh Sarabhai, Sahil Sarabhai, Monisha Sarabhai, Dushyant Sarabhai) which was reminiscent of their love-hate relationships.

1. Rosesh's poetry: Whopiiieee! Rosesh is back and so is his poetry.

 As Sarabhai returns, Rosesh couldn't contain his excitement and here is what he wrote:

"Aaya aaya Sarabhai family phirse machane dhoom, sabki dhadkane lezim karegi dum dum pat pat dum. 

Purane namune ke saath naye bhi honge hotstar par,

together they will fill the house aur house dikhega cute cute gulu gulu jaise momma ka brocade blouse."

2. Sahil an Monisha nok-jhok: 

Sahil: Kuch 

nahi badla yeh waise hi hai Monisha, yeh bhai bhi waisa hi hai. in dono se mujhe bachchao.

Sahil: Kuch 

Monisha- Main sudhar gayi hoon. (everyone laughs)

Sahil: Pehle woh tissue paper use karti thi muh pahounchne ke liye ab woh toilet roll use karti hai.

3. New Entry- Sahil and Monisha's child: Their kid is said to be an interesting mix of all the namunas in the Sarabhai house from Maya, Indravadan to Rosesh and Monisha. 

4. Maya Sarabhai and Monisha's unmissable banter: 

Monisha- I love you Mummy ji

Maya: I wish I could say the same about you, my darling. 

5. When the entire family was worried about Rosesh's wedding: 

Maya: Unfortunately kuch khaas badla nahi. Mere chhote bete ki shadi nahi hui. 

Indravadan: Lekin kuch mannat ka chakkar chal rha hai na, ho sakta hai iske haath pile ho jayein. 

Sahil: Iske haath pile aur humare muh kala
