Shantanu Maheshwari's April Fool's Day prank reveals his notorious side
The shy boy Shantanu Maheshwari is actually a prankster.
Looks can be deceptive! And that's exactly what the dancer cum actor Shantanu Maheshwari proves. And why do we say that?! So the Jhalak Dikhhlaja Jaa runner up who is apparently known to be extremely shy and innocent, turns out actually to be a prankster hiding in disguise of a puppy face. The actor who is still fondly remembered as Swayam Shekhawat from his very first show Dil Dostii Dance, recalled one of his best April Fools Day prank right from their shoot days on set!
Speaking on the same Shantanu told us, "So when shooting for an outdoor shoot one year during D3, our entire team decided to prank one of our co stars and crew members , about paranormal activity in the hotel ! We all actually started making sounds, and faces which freaked them out so much that she was nearly on her way back home and started crying complaining to the production people! She got so freaked out that we had no option but to tell her that it was just a prank!! She was so angry with all of us, but we did have the time of our life, it was an awesome shoot too, and something we will never forget! And one of the best pranks I ever got to play on my costar."
Shantunu, when it comes to talking to his female counterparts is reserved. He had once told us about an incident back in his college days that had left him red faced. "We were dancing at one of these college fests on stage and there was this girl who was standing quite close to the stage who kept screaming out Shantanu I love you and please marry me!! Since there weren't too many people near the stage I could even see her and it felt so awkward. Even after the performance she came out to me and spoke to me saying she loved my performance etc. She was quite excited but I was so awkward and didn't say much at all. It really felt quite funny," said Shantanu.
The handsome who is otherwise a shy boy was Jacqueline Fernandez's cutie on sets of JDJ 9 where the gorgeous actress was seen as a judge.
