Actress Shivya Pathania is one of the fresh faces of Telly Ville. The gorgeous lady captivated hearts with her stint as Saanchi in the hit show Ek Rishta Saajhedaari Ka on Sony TV. It was here where she met the love of her life, Kingshuk Vaidya.
The actress was recently snapped at an event in suburban Mumbai. At the launch of a saree boutique, Shivya was seen dressed in a beautiful traditional wear. She even tried draping one of the elite sarees put on display. The actress is currently head over heels in love with her co-star and BFF, Kingshuk. After finally admitting to their relationship, Shivanya while talking to a daily, said, “Kinshuk is very close to me. I want to be with him and I am with him... as of now, I enjoy being with him. Rest of course, time will tell. He talks a lot about me and he often laughs with me saying, ‘you should also say some nice things about me.’ But I have always told my fans that when I find the right person, they will be the first ones to know.” While talking about her show, that is soon to go off air, Shivya says, “I am waiting to get my next project. I don’t have a specific genre in my mind, but I don’t want to play a bechari (helpless) on-screen. I want to play a strong and independent woman,” she added.
Shivya who was a part of Humsafar, while talking about her journey from the hills to the metropolitan city, said, “I came to Mumbai from Shimla after auditioning as a model. I came here with luggage that was sufficient for just two days. I never thought that I would do television. I had one year in hand, before my first show happened, and it was not like people were running behind me for roles. I understood what auditioning was all about and how sometimes projects don’t happen. You need to have patience in this industry.”
