Sarabhai vs Sarabhai's Sumeet Raghvan is reliving it by watching again
Sumeet Raghvan opens up about the new season of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.
When the news broke of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai making a comeback on the small screen, fans became restless to just watch their favourite show all over again. While we are enjoying watching the reruns of the show, even the cast is doing the same.
Yes, Sumeet Raghvan, who plays the role of Dr Sahil Sarabhai on the show revealed that he is watching and reliving all the episodes of the show. He makes a point to watch the episodes from the show between his shoots and also after pack up. Moreover, he has also hit the gym and is trying to get into the shape for the second season.
Talking about it, Sumeet stated, "The characters of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai are all extremely human and real and that's where the humour lies. One can relate to these characters, not a single one is far fetched so to get the real essence and the vulnerability, it was paramount to revisit "Saahil"."
When asked about his look, he said, "Well there is no change as far as my look is concerned."
The cast recently had a first script reading session after many years. About it, Sumeet said, "We had a great time for the script reading. I mean what do you expect when the Sarabhais meet. Complete madness. Can't wait to start shooting."
Even we can't wait to see the madness on the screen soon! What about you guys?
Earlier producer JD Majethia confirmed the news of the show to a popular tabloid, saying, After the show wrapped up, all of us, including the actors, got busy with other commitments. However, at every public event and even at private functions in the last 10 years, I was always asked when Sarabhai vs Sarabhai was returning. It was a public demand which finally compelled us to set aside everything else and concentrate on developing a quality script which lives up to the audience’s expectations. Shooting will continue all through April. We are targeting a May release."
