EXCLUSIVE: Krushna Abhishek on Sunil Grover quitting The Kapil Sharma Show: Kapil and I may work together soon

I have never come across Kapil disrespecting me anytime. He never mixes up personal and professional issues. I don't know why people are talking ill about him, says Krushna Abhishek.

The news of Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover's friendship gone kaput after the ugly squabble between them shocked many fans. While people were hoping for the two to reconcile, the news of Sunil having opted out of the show shattered the fans even more. While people have turned their backs on Kapil and are seen backing Sunil, one actor who supports Kapil completely and is seen speaking in favour of him, is comedian cum actor, Krushna Abhishek. The actor feels that things have been just blown out of proportion and it's not really a huge deal as it been made.

"Everybody, every group of friends fight. Kapil and Sunil are also good friends, well I don't know whether he was drunk when the fight happened, but I am sure this must have been a normal fight between two friends. The group is together since four years now, so such issues must be happening every now and then... I am sure even you must be fighting with your besties. But it's just that, once it's constantly been written about and spoken about, things tend to automatically become big. But it's actually just blown out of proportion," said Krushna.

Krushna and Kapil have known each other for years now. Considering the current public portrayal of Kapil being arrogant and egoistic even at work, Krushna completely denied of it and spoke in favour of his friend cum professional rival. "I have never had any issues with Kapil. Kapil respects me a lot and so do I respect him. We must have had minor issues but never disrespected each other. I have never come across Kapil disrespecting me anytime. He never mixes up personal and professional issues. I don't know why people are talking ill about him." The news of Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar quitting the show shocked fans. But Krushna doesn't seem to be shocked. "Koi baat nahi! It maybe that Kapil and I work together soon!" he signed off.
