Ranbir Kapoor to make his TV debut; will host Nach Baliye 8
Ranbir Kapoor has been roped in to host Nach Baliye 8. Well, not for the entire season but for one episode.
Here's some great news for the fans of Ranbir Kapoor. The actor apparently will be making his TV debut soon. Yes, you heard it right!
According to reports, RK has been roped in to host Nach Baliye 8. Well, not for the entire season but one episode. While Nach Baliye has it's host finalised as Karan Tacker, the search for his co-host was still on. Apparently, now it been sorted out for the first episode with Ranbir opening the show. The show begins on April 2 on Star Plus. The actor will also perform a medley of his own songs.
“Ranbir Kapoor will be perfect for the grand opening episode of Nach Baliye 8. We are very excited and have our fingers crossed to see Ranbir Kapoor set the stage on fire with his dance and stage presence as host! Ranbir is a natural dancer and he will surely set a benchmark for the 10 jodis and prep them up for the entire season. If things go as planned, we might be shooting later this week,” read a statement from the makers. The shoot is expected to take place on Saturday, March 25.
Nach Baliye has roped in Bollywood hotshots Sonakshi Sinha, Terence Lewis and Mohit Suri as the judges. Initially, Karan Singh Grover was roped in to host along with Upasana Singh. But things didn't work out and the makers approached Karan Patel next. Finally, Karan Tacker was finalised.
The show has roped in big celebrity couples like Divyanka Tripathi- Vivek Dahiya, Sanaya Irani-Mohit Sehgal, Bharti Singh- Harsh Limbaachiya, Aashka Goradia-Brent Goble, Dipika Kakkar-Shoaib Ibrahim and others.
