Balika Vadhu fame Mahhi Vij is undoubtedly one of the prettiest ladies of Television. On the occasion of Holi, we recently caught up with the actress for a special segment at Pinkvilla. And why was it special?! So, the actress taught us a few quick and easy recipes that could be made on the fancy eve of Holi.

On the professional front, Mahhi was last seen on Colors' Balika Vadhu as Dr. Nandini. The actress rose to fame with her hit show Lagi Tujhse Lagan. She essayed the role of Nakusha.The actress is married to the dapper actor cum host Jay Bhanushali. While Jay is currently making it big on TV as an actor and a host, also tried his hands on a couple of Bollywood movies where he was seen performing some sensous acts. While talking to a daily, Mahhi spoke about how she isnt affected with her doting husband Jay's bold scenes on screen. "I am possessive but not an insecure wife. And I think every woman is possessive towards her husband. I don’t fear losing Jay. He can’t stay away from me for more than half an hour. My love is too strong to lose him."
Do controversies surrounding her and Jay affect their relationship and she says, "It doesn’t as I strongly believe in karma. If someone does a bad thing to you, it will eventually fall back on them. My focus is on my work and family. I don’t pay attention and waste my energy on such things." So is Mahhi fine watching Jay kissing onscreen and she shared, "Aurat ka dil bohot bada hota hai... but such decisions have to be taken anyway.""I took a long break because I wasn’t getting good offers. In between, I did reality shows. I don’t want to do TV shows just for the heck of it. I can’t compromise with my career." Jay and Mahhi have been married for 5 years now. Jay has been balancing between TV and films.
