Rajat Barmecha all set for Girl in the City 2; sports a trendy new look
The actor has grown his mane and his look will be giving some serious competition to Meera's (Mithila Palkar) curls on-screen.
Actor Rajat Barmecha who will be reprising the role of Karthik for Bindass' Girl in the City chapter 2 is all pepped up for the show. In fact, fulfilling the demand of his character, Rajat will be seen sporting a new look for the web series.
It is often seen that actor's experiment with their looks and sometimes retain it for the big screen as well. Rajat Barmecha is also one such actor who likes to experiment with his look once in a while. And to add more to it, the makers of the show loved his new look and decided to continue with it for the series as well. The actor has grown his mane and his look will be giving some serious competition to Meera's (Mithila Palkar) curls on-screen. The actor while talking to us, said, "My new look in Girl in the City chapter 2 has got a super interesting story. So I started growing my hair and liked it. One day I put a picture of myself in my new look on Facebook and I got a call from Samar and he said that he loved my new look and if I am ok with it he would like to use it for Kartik in chapter 2. And that's how the new look happened."
Rajat was highly appreciated for his commendable performance in Vikramaditya Motwane's Udaan. Post that Rajat was seen doing a cameo in Shaitan and even was a part of a short film titled The Finish Line, which went on to win a National Award. Girl in the City 2 is a continuation of its first season that went into be a hit amongst youth. The show stars Mithila Palkar as Meera. Girl in the City 2 kick-starts from March 24, 2017.
