Anas Rashid regrets not being a part of Diya Aur Baati Hum sequel
"My best wishes are with them but I have regrets of not being a part of it." - Anas Rashid reveals on not being a part of Diya Aur Baati Hum sequel titled Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji.
Anas Rashid became a household name as the ideal husband Sooraj Rathi in Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum. His chemistry with Deepika Singh was loved by all.
The sequel to the show titled Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji is going to start airing from April 3, 2017, with the next genearation of Rathi's.
Anas, who is enjoying a sabbatical in his hometown Punjab is not a part of the new series and regrets it, according to a leading television portal.
He has seen the promos of the new show and said to the portal, "I only have regrets of not being a part of the show. I felt sad to see that Bhabo (Neelu Vaghela) has grown so old now and I felt like hugging her and telling her not to worry, have the Jalebis as they have been made by me. I even saw a new girl as Kanak who is making Jalebis. They are like a family to me and I always look up to them as a family. My best wishes are with them but I have regrets of not being a part of it."
On if he spoke to Neelu about the promo, he said, "I haven’t spoken to her about the promo yet but I will speak to her. I had spoken to her when she went to Kerala for the promotions."
Anas also revealed that he will definitely be seeing the show. He said, "I will surely follow the show and see if they are making the Jalebis in a perfect way or not."
