The news of Simar aka Dipika Kakar quitting Sasural Simar shocked many. Now here Dheeraj Dhoopar aka Prem soon to bid adieu to the show. Yes, you heard it right. According to reports, the actor will shoot his last episode on March 8.
He had put in his papers in mid-January. Dheeraj was associated with the show for a good four long years. While talking to a daily, Dheeraj said,, "I am parting on a good note. I have quit the show for better opportunities and want to take up a romantic show next. If a project materialises, I could be back on screen within no time. Otherwise, I would like to work on my body and return in a new avatar." We had also heard that the actor was all planning to take a plunge into Bollywood. Dheeraj who is a certified fashion designer and a stylist, designs himself for the events and appearances that he donns. He is known for his chic dressing and for having his fashion game just on point!
Recently, the actor had also acted in a short film called "Yellow" which was inspired by true life incident of women conning men on the pretext of love. This film was based purely on the fact that how the Indian laws today is so much tilted towards women that now women have started taking advantage of this situation to cheat the or con them. The makers of the film believed that Dheeraj Dhoopar being the face of the film, will take the project and the message to a whole new level. While talking to us, Dheeraj had said, "Amber( director ) is a dear friend & when he discussed the plot of the film with me I was excited to be a part of it because I loved the storyand there is a social message in it. It's been shot very well & I hope it sends out a powerful message. I respect women with all my heart but at the same time I do believe that it's not just the men who are bad and also share the other side of the story. Waiting for reviews have my fingers crossed".
Well, the actor is not just a thorough professional but is extremedly a doting husband to his gorgoues wife Vinny Arora. After dating each other for six years, Dheeraj and Vinny tied the knot on November 16 and are now enjoying their life, post marriage. The two met on the sets of the show Mata Pitah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg and fell in love with each other.
Meanwhile, Sasural Simar Ka has got it's new Simar aka Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar! We wonder who would fit into the shoes of Prem now?!
