Sab TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma in one of the longest running shows on TV. But here is some news that is sure to upset its fans. The little Tapu aka the leader of Tapu Sena is all set to bid adieu to fans. Bhavya Gandhi aka Tapu apparently is headed to exploring newer projects. The apple of Jetha Lal and Dayaben's eye, Tapu aka Bhavya will be seen working in a Gujarati movie starring Manoj Joshi, Ketaki Dave, Johnny Lever and others.
Bhavya confirmed the news to an online portal and said, “Yes, I have quit the show in the month of January. The journey of eight years and eight months has been fruitful. I have enjoyed working with my Taarak cast and Asit (Modi) sir (producer). In the same way, in which my fans have showered me with love, I would want them to support me for my future endeavours.”
The show, all of nine years has been one of the longest running ones on Indian Television. Helmed by Asit Modi, the show is a light-hearted one with a complete amalgamation of simple family drama and comedy, far away from the daily heavy-dosed serials. The show revolves around a happy society named Gokuldham and the families residing in it. It gives the viewers a glimpse of an array of the all the cultures present in India. Its episodes revolve around everyday situations and circumstances. It also revolves around how the entire society is one family, celebrating every festival and being a part of each other's joys and sorrows. All The Best!
