Fans were heartbroken when Ankit Bathla aka Dhruv announced that he was quitting the TV show Thapki Pyar Ki. As the show will embark on a seven-year leap Ankit did not want to play the role of a father so early in his career.
The show's team had been extensively searching for a suitable replacement. Their search has finally ended. It is none other than Jatin Shah, according to a leading daily.
After staying away from television for five years the actor is finally back. He said to the daily, "I couldn't be part of a daily soap as I was busy taking care of my business."
He added, "It's a challenge to play an already established character. But I am convinced that I will be able to pull it off."
