Reviving '80s magic! Vinay Pathak to play the lead in Prakash Jha's show Mungerilal?

As per reports, filmmaker Prakash Jha is helming the project Mungerilal, which is a remake of his '80s hit show, Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne. The series revolves around simpleton Mungerilal, who is a day-dreamer and sees all his dreams turn real.
No as per reports in a daily, popular actor Vinay Pathak will play the male lead in the series, which will air on Sony TV.
According to a source associated with the project, "The work on the show is on in full swing. It became extremely popular in the 80's and the channel is hoping to recreate the magic. Vinay fits the bill perfectly and has an impeccable coming timing."
No official confirmation could be received from the makers.
