Sharad Kelkar to join Maharaja Ranjit Singh's starcast, to play a pivotal role in the historical show?
Life OK is all set to come up with a new show based on the life and journey of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The channel and production house has already zeroed on popular names like Shaleen Bhanot, Sneha Wagh, Anuradha Patel for the historic drama.
Now as per reports in an entertainment portal, actor Sharad Kelkar has been roped in for a pivotal role in the TV show. He was last seen in & TV’s Agent Raghav.
It is said that Sharad will essay an important role - of Banda Singh Bahadur, the learned Sikh military commander. The story of Ranjit Singh will kickstart with the introduction of Banda Bahadur.
"The team of Maharaja Ranjit Singh will soon go for their first outdoor schedule in Rajasthan," said the sources.
There is no official confirmation from the actor's end yet.
