Ranveer's refusal to promote Befikre on CNB surprises Krushna Abhishek, wishes to get SRK for Raees!
Actors giving Krushna Abhishek's Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza a miss during their movie promotions isn't something new. The format of roasting and insensitive remarks has made the actors hesitant to appear on the show. Recently, Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor refused to go to his show to promote Befikre. But it seems this has surprised the host Abhishek who was expecting Ranveer and Vaani on his show.
While talking to a daily, Abhishek said, "I don't know what happened to Ranveer. He had earlier come to the show to promote Bajirao Mastani and had a great time. In fact, he loves Bharti and me. So I was surprised on his refusal to come on our show. The show has now mellowed down and we no longer follow the roast format." He feels that the viewers will take time to understand that the show has gone the Comedy Circus way where there are simple gags and a little bit of leg pulling.
The actor now hopes that he will be able to rope in Shah Rukh Khan for Raees.
