Demonetization Effect: Vivian, Jay, Shivin & other TV stars strongly oppose the Bharat Bandh; support NaMo!
The demonetization effect seems to have affected almost everyone. But while majority have decided to face the situation with a positivity and hoping for a better nation soon, a few have criticized the act to the core.
A few members of opposition had strongly called for a Bharat Bandh to be held today just to show their distress and anger against the demonetization plan that now seems to be functioning smoothly. And of course! With the Modi wave still having captivated people, the protest seemed to have died instantly, with just a handful of followers who probably sat all day at home, believing in the Bharat Bandh (Hopes, we tell you!)
Well, not just the aam janta but also the stars of Telly Ville did not support the Bharat Bandh! Here is what they had to say!
Vivian Dsena - I have always found Narendra Modi to be a Visionary and I feel whatever he does is in favour of the country's growth and economy. I will always support his decision and vision.
Laksh - There's nothing wrong or right about demonetization. Yes, people are suffering and are not supporting it completely. It's just a matter of opinions. If you ask me then I would say, No I don't support the Bharat band movement . People can't simply expect an overnight change in a country like India where corruption was running from the majority of the taps. I think they need to have a little more patience in order to see the change. I am in complete support of Mr. Modi.
Sheena Bajaj - I am with NaMo. People are suffering and going through many problems but Bharat Bandh is not the solution for that. Money management will become structured with the efforts.
Gulfam Khan - A bandh is never good whatever the reason is. Stopping the economic machinery will not solve the problem, there are people who get their livelihood by earning money everyday. I'm always against a bandh.
Jay Soni - I am with Modi in this. But at the same time I have seen some people going through hell because of the sudden announcement. Government should have given some breather to the common people.
Ankush Arora - Demonetization is a great step towards betterment of our country's future, and it should be supported by all. There are going to be some difficulties at the start, as change is not easy and it is at a big scale but at the end I think it will fetch better results. So, in my opinion there should not be anything happening like Bharat Bandh.
Priyal Gor - I am against Bharat Bandh. I have seen some people facing problem but Bharat Bandh is not the solution. I think Modi is right.
Shivin Narang - I am not in favour of Bharat Bandh. We have chosen PM Modi and we should respect his decision and should wait for the benefits of demonetization. If we have to make something big it creates little bit of inconvenience initially whether it is a Dam, metro or a mall.
Shardul Pandit - I am totally against Bharat Bandh. The vision and the way it was executed is the smartest, brace and monumental move by Modi and the cabinets. Though people faced some problems but they will realize in the coming months and years how good is this for us and the economy.
Navina Bole - I am against Bharat bandh. The movement of Modiji to remove black money and corruption is fantastic. He has done everything smartly.
Kinshuk Mahajan - Doing bandh doesn't solve any issues. We have selected Modi as our PM and should support his efforts. He is a visionary. He is fighting the old ill system and hope the end result will be good.
Sumit Kaul -
I don't understand the view of the opposition parties that they see merit in the intent but not the execution of demonetization. This kind of exercise in a country like ours could never have been executed in the perfect manner that everyone is demanding. Despite the complexity of the exercise I think a fair degree of stability has been maintained in the country. And it is due to the resilience, grit and faith in their leader by the Indian citizens. The beauty of this decision doesn't lie in its execution but the courage to take it against the fear of becoming an unpopular leader. It is this courage that has won the Mr Modi even more admirers than when he started in 2014. The support of the entire country is evident and the writing is on the wall. But the opposition parties choose to ignore the sentiments of the country and call for a bandh which would put the entire country on a standstill. It's a pity that when the political parties should be helping the common man deal with this humongous change, they're busy playing politics and trying to belittle this movement called demonetization. I am for it and I support my Prime Minister. Jai Hind!
