I am excited to collaborate with a superlative singer like Shankar Mahadevan for Rising Star - Diljit Dosanjh
Diljit Dosanjh has impressed everyone with his amazing singing talent in his movies and several music videos. There were reports that he will be joining composer-singer Shankar Mahadevan as a judge for an upcoming reality show Rising Star.
Diljit has confirmed the news to a popular tabloid and said, "Singing is more of a passion for me than profession which I have been nurturing for the last 11 years. The show is an enabler through which I hope to share my passion with the country's budding talent."
He further added, "I am excited to collaborate with a superlative singer like Shankar Mahadevan for such a unique concept. The show's format is really intriguing."
After making his debut in Bollywood with Udta Punjab, Diljit is set to be seen in Anushka Sharma's next production titled Phillauri. Talking about his experience, he said, "It was wonderful working with Anushkaji and the team. She is a great co-star and producer."
