My relationship with Ashish Kapoor was a big mistake - Priyal Gor
The cute and bubbly Priyal Gor became a household name as a girl who becomes a princess in the show, Dekha Ek Khwaab. Moreover, her chemistry with the lead actor Ashish Kapoor was very appreciated by the viewers. While shooting for the show, both the actors started dating each other. But, their relationship soon ended once the show went off air.
Recently, during an interaction with a popular daily, Priyal was asked about Ashish, to which she stated, "The relationship was a big mistake. I was only 18 then. That's too young an age to indulge in matters of the heart. We grew apart as our wavelengths did not match -he is more outgoing and modern, while I am homely."
She further added, "Despite being part of showbiz, I am nothing like other actors. I don't have many friends in the industry. We grew possessive about each other, which led to compatibility issues. More than being insecure about him, I was confused about what was happening in the relationship." However, after parting ways, both are still very much friends.
Priyal has made her comeback on TV with Ichhapyaari Naagin, where she plays the role of a snake-woman. The actor has been busy doing films in South Indian film industry. Talking about it, she said, "I didn't quit TV. I waited for a good show to come my way and I'm fortunate that this one came my way. Naagins are usually portrayed as sensuous and hot on TV , but the snake-woman that I play stands out with her cute and bubbly persona."
