Samir Soni to make a comeback on TV after 3 years!
Samir Soni became a household name with his stint in Bigg Boss season 4 and then in TV show Parichay. After the show went off air, Samir went on a sabbatical for three years.
Now, as per a popular daily, the Fashion actor is back on the small screen with a fiction show. A source stated, "Though he was seen in a few standalone episodes of Darr Sabko Lagta Hai, this show will have him playing a full-fledged role. The upcoming show will be helmed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Siddharth Sen Gupta."
When Soni was asked about it, he confirmed it by saying, "It was Siddharth who called me, I have worked with him in the past and we have a great rapport. Vikram, being a part of the whole project, made it even more interesting. The sensibilities are going to be good and there will be a certain standard to the series.” He reveals that he will be playing a rich, businessman. “Somehow I am stuck with this image on TV. There is a love angle, too. It is not a typical romance, there is a sobriety to it."
Vikram is not willing to divulge any details about it and he also revealed that he will be given the charge of the creative side of the show like scripting, dialogue and the look. But he said, he won't be directing it.
He further added, "This is a new concept called Show Runners under which the channel is hiring directors and leaving the creatives entirely to them."
Reports have it, this show will be based on a popular Turkish show Ask-i-Memnu.
