The news of Sony TV's Ek Duje Ke Vaaste to go off air has been doing rounds lately. The fans of the show were shocked and disappointed at the decision, that the show will end soon. It was said that considering the leads, Nikita Dutta and Namik Paul's ill health, the makers were unable to shoot for the upcoming episodes, following which they took the decision of ending the show on a happy note.

This piece of news obviously hasn't gone down well with the fans who started a campaign of sorts on the social media, asking the channel to continue with the show. The channel has also received a few hate mails.  Namik Paul aka Shravan who was down with the viral fever a few days ago, seems to have been overwhelmed by the love he has received from his fans. The actor took to Instagram and shared a note with all his fans who are going berserk on the issue and are lambasting the channel and makers of the show. Here is what he wrote:

Though the rumours are rife that the show will go off air on October 7, but as of now, the channel has not confirmed the development!

I never do this quote-posting thing, so I guess you could say that its pretty serious. And on a serious note, I'm DONE moping around. Listen, you guys KNOW I'm all in on the #DontEndEDKV drive, and I love this show with all my heart. But all the love you guys have shown this show has made this story, these characters LIVE (Thanks JK). EDKV has given me a lot of happiness. And if the massive reaction that you guys have shown is any indication, I'm not alone And I'd much rather cherish that, than sulk around like I know I have lately. So regardless of what happens, regardless of what the circumstances are, let's not get down on ourselves ok? Let's celebrate the fact that one story can make us feel so many things, can connect to us all in an individually unique way, and perhaps most surprisingly, bring so many different people from so many different countries together We'll be on at 10 tonight, and I hope to see a butt load of smiles everywhere PS- I'm sure some people would rather I create a public spectacle of my sadness. Sorry to disappoint
