Pearl V Puri, who was last seen in Star Plus Meri Sasu Maa, is all set to make his comeback with Life OK's Nagarjun. The actor will be replacing lead actor Anshuman Malhotra. Nagarjun... Ek Yoddha derives its story line from Mahabharata. The plot of Nagarjuna...Ek Yoddha revolves around Arjun. A war started between Prithvi lok and Naag lok when Arjun burnt down the forests of Khandava-prastha and destroyed the snake king Takshaka's family and kingdom.
For the second phase of the show, which will start from October 3, the makers required a more mature looking actor for the role of Arjun. "There are many ‘Naagins' on TV but I am the only ‘Nagarjun' and will be the only one. I have been wanting to play a superhero since my childhood days, but what I've now realised is that what is meant to happen will happen as my casting for the role of Arjun happened overnight, that too when it was least expected," Pearl told a media agency.
The Life OK show also features Nikitin Dheer and Pooja Banerjee.
