Zee is considering stopping Zindagi shows, Pak artistes should also leave - Dr. Subhash Chandra
In a sad turn of events, the Uri attacks have invited the wrath of many globally! The relationship between India & Pakistan, which could have seen the light of day, has now gone kaput post the terrorizing attacks on our soldiers!
Going ahead in his agitation, The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena led by politician Raj Thackeray has forced on banning Pakistani actors who earn a living through the Indian economy. MNS has ordered Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan to leave the country. MNS leader Amey Khopkar, chief of the MNS's cinema workers' unit Chitrapat Karamchari Sena, informed a news agency, "We give a 48-hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artists to leave India, or MNS will push them out." He added, "Pakistani artistes will get beaten up. Along with them, we will also beat up whichever producer or director is with them." They have also ordered for a ban to be called on Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees, starring both the actors respectively.
Now after them, it seems Zindagi channel is soon to pull down all its Pakistani shows airing on the channel. Zee TV's chairman Subhash Chandra today tweeted, "unfortunate stance of Mia Sharif at UN. Zee is considering stopping Zindgi programs from Pak,as well artists from there should leave."
Meanwhile, comedian Raju Srivastav has also called off his show in Karachi to show his way of condemning the depressing attacks. Singer Kumar Sanu also decided to not perform in Pakistan. It is quite obvious that post the cowardly attack on Indian borders, the ties between the two countries have strained drastically.
