Catch the excerpts;-
How was your experience of dancing with your mother on Jhalak Dikhha Jaa?!
It was an emotional moment. She always wanted to dance along with me and Jhalak proved to be the right stage. She too never got a chance to showcase her talent as such or learn dance. So I was very happy when I got a chance to dance with her.We danced on a folk based song.
What were her reactions?!
She was really nervous. But I told her that 'you are going to make sure that you will be dancing how much I am'. I had to calm her down. But she was really excited to dance.
What were the reactions of the judges?!
They were very happy on seeing my mom perform as they hadn't expected to perform so well. They were surprised actually. Ganesh sir told her that she ddn't look like an untrained dancer rather he felt that she was professionally trained. It was really nice of him to say this. She was really happy. Everyone loved her energy and her spirit. They told me that when she started to dance, noone even looked at me.
Whom do you consider to be the one behind your success?!
I give all the credit to my mom for she was the one who took all the efforts. She was the one who made me join a dance class, explored my talent, boosted my morale. She was my staunch pillar of support.
Tell us something about journey on JDJ?!
My journey on JDJ has been fun-filled. I am understanding everything more and I am enjoying it. I have slowly opened up and that is a big thing for me because I take time to open up. I am a shy kind of a person. But now I have opened up more. And especially after the family round, I have started to enjoy JDJ more.
Whom do you consider to be a tough contendor on JDJ?!
JDJ is all about your journey and how you take things forward. I have always decided to complete with myself and become better week by week, give in my best. If I am giving my best and the audience and judges are seeing the efforts, then nothing like it. That's enough for me. It's a competition with myself. I am my toughest competiton!
