EXCLUSIVE: Shantanu's fanboy moment with Govinda, performs with the actor on his iconic song Sarkai Lo on JDJ
Color's popular dance show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is packed with celebrity judges each week. Recently, the dancing sensation of the 90s, Govinda graced the dancing stage. And it was the D3 actor, Shantanu, who made the most out of it and how!
Apparently, Shantanu performed on Govinda's iconic classic number Sarkai Lo Khatiya. Chi Chi, as Govinda is fondly addressed, was quite impressed with Shantanu's performance and post the act joined the youth dancing sensation on the stage. Govinda and Shantanu grooved to the beats together and after dancing with the D3 actor on stage, Chi Chi even said a 'God bless you' to the young TV star.
A source exclusively shared with Pinkvilla, "Shantanu, who has always been a huge Govinda fan, even danced with him during the opening of the show. Shantanu and his choreographer Alisha even replicated Govinda and Karisma Kapoor's costume for the performance."
Shantanu, who is currently seen in MTV’s Girls on Top, rose to recognition after his Desi Hoppers group won the Wold Dance Championship.
