If I had a choice, I would rather give my kid a book than an iPad: Mommy Shveta Salve talks about raising kids!
The hot and happening actress of telly ville, Shveta Salve welcomed her little bundle of joy just a few days ago.
The actress, throughout her pregnancy has never shied away from the media nor from updating her little one's status to her fans through social media. Infact, Shveta sported her baby bump in the utmost chic style making her look just trendy and classy.
“Why should any woman hide this part of her life? Flaunting a baby bump is not only about embracing yourself, but also about encouraging other women to do the same,” says the yummy mummy while talking to a daily. “I have never fallen for external pressures in life - be it in my professional space or in my personal life.”
While talking about raising kids the right way, especially in today's era, Shveta states how she is a little affected on seeing even toddlers turn into gizmo freaks. "I believe that one should be in tune with the changing times. I don’t want my child to be backward, and not know anything about technology. I understand how difficult it is to raise a child. It is fine if a mother gives her child an iPad to listen to a nursery rhyme. But if I had a choice, I would rather give my kid a book than an iPad,” says the actress.
She does not blame the media in such cases since they are doing their job, but feels that some consideration would be nice. "Sometimes, they think it is okay to talk about us just because we are actors. It is sad that the media targets celebrities,” she signs off.
