If I Threw Tantrums On The Sets, I Wouldn't Have Been Approached For The Second Time - Ganesh Hegde On Reports Of Getting Replaced On Jhalak Dikhhla Ja 9
Jhalak Dikhhla Ja Season 9 started off with lots of controversies. First, there were reports that contestants were not happy that talented dancer-choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan was part of the competition as a contestant. Then there were rumours of choreographer-director Farah Khan replacing ace choreographer Ganesh Hegde as a judge on the show.
At a recent event, when Ganesh was asked whether he felt insecure or sad about these rumours of getting replaced, he said, "I didn't feel any insecurity. I found the reports funny. Without knowing the format of the show, someone doing an irresponsible journalism and people are even posting about. If you get to know such news, you should call and ask me, if there's truth in it or not. But, this one-sided seems to be a conspiracy by someone. I feel bad that, if I have not harmed anyone, why should anyone harm me? It is a big responsibility on the channel and the show. There are several twists and turns in the show which will be running for about six months."
He was even asked that reportedly he used to throw tantrums on the sets. To which he said, "This is my second year. If I threw tantrums on the sets, I wouldn't have been approached for the second time."
He further added talking about the format of the show, "Firstly, it used to run for only three months. Now, it's just once a week and will be there for six months. So, many twists and turns are bound to happen. So, people have to think before writing such stuff. Why would she replace me? We both are entirely different personalities. My character is totally different from hers. No one replaces anyone in this industry. People have to be careful before writing. Because at times, it can lead to animosity between two people which has not come yet. Why to add unnecessary fuel to the fire?"
