The news of Salman Yusuf Khan to enter Colors reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa made his fans beam with joy.  It was said that while his followers were desperately waiting for him to showcase his dancing talent yet again, a few of his fellow contetants were not too happy with the actor-dancer's entry on the show. It was said that model-actress Nora Fatehi considered Salman's entry to be unfair for other participants since he already is a professional dancer.

But Salman has a different story to tell.  While clarifying on the 'controversy' of Nora being miffed with his entry, Salman stated, "Firstly, No! Nora wasn't miffed with me or something. When these reports came out, the first thing she did was come upto me and clarified. It seems she was misquoted. What she told me was that she felt I being an experienced dancer should have been above the game. She told me, 'Salman you are so good that you should be judging the show and not be a part of the contestants.' Later, we spoke on how every year there is incorporation of professional dancers as participants on JDJ. That's the channel who brings them in to step the game up, to build in more challenge. And you know what in a way, it is more stressful for us because the non dancer celebs at times might get away with their mistakes in performances. But for us, we don't get that kind of a privilege. It's a lot of stress to live upto the audience expectations. Trust me, if you understand the amount of stress that we go, or as an individual I am going, if you realise that pressure, you wont want to be in my place ever." says Salman.

He further stated, "Firstly, I don't know why was the fuss overall about. Earlier, we have seen professional dancers on the show. Shakti, Faisal, Lauren all have been a part as contestants. I think Nora was misquoted. Also, the celebs who come on JDJ are actors with a humungous fan following, whose votes work in the respective actor's favour. I have never complained about it. Then why is this entire fuss around me?!

Hope this puts an end to the gossips of the gossipmongers.
