The reports of either Sharman Joshi or Sonu Sood to be playing the main protagonist in the extended version of Star Plus's Diya Aur Baati Hum took the internet by storm recently.
But according to sources, the news is nothing but mere rumours. The makers are in search of a 35 year old character fit to play the character of Uma Shankar.
Going ahead, diya aur Baati hum will see Sandhya and Sooraj die. The story will then take over from there.
