The handsome dancer cum choreographer Prince Gupta is truly a gem of a person at heart! And why do we say that?! The dancer recently set a world record of organising the world’s largest dance workshop! We caught up with the dancer to know more about the event. "It was just not an ordinary dance workshop, says Prince. “The children, who specially came down to Gujrat where the workshop was held, were provided with free food and free stay as well. The 7-day workshop saw around 2135 children from all over India.”

While talking about the response the workshop got Prince says that it was terrific! “We literally had to conduct auditions and select the children for the workshop. The number of kids willing to participate was in a humongous number. We had trainers aka dancers from DID, Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa who willingly volunteered in teaching various forms of dance to the kids.” He further stated, “I had invited celebs Tiger Shroff, Remo Dsouza, Terence Lewis to be a part of the event. Initially, they were hesitant to believe that such an event could actually take place. But when they saw it all being executed, they were flabbergasted. For the next time, they have asked me to involve them from the beginning itself. Varun Dhawan too expressed his desire of wanting to be a part of this ‘happy event’ from next time.”

So what made him conduct such a huge event all at his expenses?! “I am a dancer and I want to give the audiences back what I have got from them. I have travelled to a lot of places and I realised that there were talented kids who could not afford to get professional training in dance.  It feels great to see an amazing response from kids.”

To all the little ones who could not be a part of this grand workshop, there is always a next time because Prince plans to continue to do the good work every year! Way to go Prince! We wish you all the success!
